Charak Hospital & Research Centre is an officially recognized medical facility (Approval No: UP/LKW/07/2024) for conducting Pre-Sea and In-Service medical examinations for Indian and International Seafarers in accordance with MS Medical Examination Rules.

Documents Required

  • Original Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC)
  • Original Passport
  • 4 Recent Passport Size Photographs
  • Previous Medical Certificates (if any)

  • Physical Examination & Systemic Check
  • Vision Test (Ishihara & Lantern)
  • Audiometry (Hearing Test)
  • X-Ray, ECG, Dental & Blood Investigations

Appointment Information

Seafarers are advised to report on an empty stomach (8-10 hours fasting) for accurate blood results. Examinations usually take 3-4 hours to complete.

Reports: Same-day certificate issuance for most cases.
