Most Emergency Department visits can be treated on site. Typically, only 2-3% of patients need transport to a higher level of care. If inter-facility transfer is required, our Emergency providers and nurses have capabilities to initiate a transfer through ground transportation.

As a LEVEL III STROKE CENTER, staff are highly trained to diagnose and start treatment for those experiencing a stroke. The Emergency Department will collaborate with Neurologist and their team to initiate the transfer to a higher level of care.
